AI and Automation Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This policy sets the rules for using rented phones, Automations and every AI feature provided by RoamRig ("we", "us"). It is part of our Terms and Conditions, and it applies to you and to anyone you give access to your account or phones.
1. You are responsible for what your automations do
- Everything an automation posts, sends, comments, likes, follows, messages or otherwise does on your instructions counts as your own action.
- You choose the tasks, the accounts, the content and the schedule. Check what your automations are doing, and stop any task that isn't doing what you intended.
- AI can misread a screen or get things wrong. Where Automations offers a review or approval step, use it, and read drafts before you approve them.
- If you use Automations, our AI reads your phone's screen to carry out the tasks you set.
2. Platform rules apply
Every app and website you use on a rented phone has its own terms, community guidelines and rules about automated activity, spam and multiple accounts. You must follow them, whether you act by hand or through Automations. If a platform does not allow an activity, do not use RoamRig to do it.
Action a platform takes against your accounts, such as limits, suspensions or bans, is between you and that platform. We can't promise that any account will avoid platform action, and platform action is not a reason for a refund.
3. Only accounts you're allowed to use
Use only accounts you own, or accounts whose owner has authorized you to manage them. If you run accounts for clients, you are responsible for having their permission and for following each platform's rules for agencies and managers.
4. Banned uses
You may not use RoamRig, by hand or through Automations, for:
- Anything illegal, including fraud, scams, phishing, money laundering and payment fraud
- Taking over, logging into or automating accounts you don't own or aren't authorized to manage
- Impersonating a real person, business or official body, or using fake, stolen or borrowed identities to deceive people
- Spam: unsolicited bulk messages, comments, texts or direct messages, or messaging people who haven't agreed to hear from you where the law requires their consent
- Fake reviews, fake testimonials, or paid endorsements that aren't disclosed
- Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, or publishing someone's private information
- Any sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance, reported to the authorities), and intimate images of anyone shared without their consent
- AI-generated or edited images, video or audio of a real person made to deceive, or sexual content showing a real person without their consent
- False or misleading information about elections or voting, or content designed to stop people from voting
- Getting around a platform's bans, limits, security checks or verification, for example making new accounts to return after a ban
- Selling, renting out or relaying the phone numbers or verification codes on your rented phones, or receiving codes for accounts that aren't yours
- Malware, hacking, credential stuffing, denial-of-service attacks, or collecting personal data unlawfully
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property
- Trying to access phones, accounts or data of other RoamRig customers, or to interfere with RoamRig's systems
5. AI-generated content
- Only give Automations material you have the right to use, such as your own photos, captions and knowledge text.
- Label AI-generated or AI-assisted content wherever the law or the platform requires it.
- Don't present AI-generated content as a real person's words, image or voice unless that person has agreed.
6. What we do when this policy is broken
If we believe this policy has been broken, we may, without notice:
- Pause or switch off an automation, a phone or Automations for your account
- Remove content stored on our systems
- Suspend or close your account, without a refund as described in the Refund Policy
- Report illegal activity to the authorities and cooperate with lawful requests
7. Reporting abuse
To report misuse of RoamRig, email help@roamrig.io with as much detail as you can, such as links, usernames, dates and screenshots. For copyright complaints, follow the Copyright and DMCA Policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the service and the law change. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
